When we talk about events that have happened over the past two decades, people who are in their twenties perhaps feel as though this is an unimaginablelength of time. On the other hand, this same period for an artist like Kamin-Lertchaiprasert (43 years old) could perhaps be seen as a highlight of his artistic life. This period was the beginning of the process which forged his characteristic working style. Several times, Kamin has said that his concepts are more important than objects. In fact, it appears that the objects have such impacted into the audience perceptions. Often, it could hardly be distinguished whether concepts or forms are the content of his work. This is because Kamin¡¯s works also resemble narrative processes which could hardly be defined as pure, conceptual art. Eventually, it was a conceptual art which is combined with narrative comprehension. This consideration might contrast with Kamin¡¯s political thoughts, which have been relevant to his work. Also, it seems to contradict with Kamin¡¯s ideas. However, the consideration above appears to be suitable with the end ness state of his works. Perhaps, his practices should be considered as the realityrather than the ideality.
