Gallery King¡¯s special exhibition, Feminine Flow, is about the i-
dentity of women in the diverse relationship network of contem-
porary society. Three female artists, Yejin LEE, Fi LEE and Ji-
seon YOON aim to delve into the meaning of a female identity
seeking change through a landscape mixed with many faces.
Yejin LEE shows work which is a collage of images collected
from magazines. Through the kitsch-like media of the magazine,
 the artist makes a parody of certain masterpieces, exerting
her ironic view on the structure conferred upon individuals and
society. Fi LEE¡¯s objects focus on the Asian female identity. By
using dried squid, a common Asian snack often unfamiliar to
Westerners, she expresses the gap between herself and others
visually and also through smell. Jiseon YOON sews over the fa-
bric on which her face is printed as a way to show that a face
is something that can change. In her previous work, Gongjae,
the artist glued her own hair onto the portrait of Duseo Yoon,
cleverly portraying the essence of the structure between indivi-
dual and society.
